How the classes work
- Live online classes on Zoom or Google Meet with a tutor who marks your work personally
- Every piece comes back annotated, so you can see exactly what was changed and why
- One writing task between classes, kept short enough that you will actually do it
- Small groups, or one-on-one if you want every minute spent on your own drafts
- Classes scheduled in your timezone, including weekends
What you need to join
- A laptop or tablet is strongly recommended, since you will be typing in most classes
- A free Google account for sharing documents
- A notebook, because handwriting practice still matters if you sit written exams
Common questions
Will this help with O Level or board exam writing?
Yes, weeks 4 to 8 map directly onto the composition, summary and comprehension tasks that written papers ask for, including timing under exam pressure. Tell us your board or exam board when you enrol and the tutor will use its past-paper formats.
Is this the same as the spoken English course?
No, and the two work well together. Spoken English is about speaking without hesitating. This one is about what you put on a page or in an inbox.
How much writing will I have to do?
One task per class, usually 20 to 30 minutes of work. Writing improves through repetition and feedback, and there is no shortcut around that.
Can I bring my own work, like a real report or application?
Yes, and you should. Students who bring real deadlines into class get the most out of it.
