About Myself

Hello and welcome to my teaching profile! My name is Amna, and I am truly passionate about the art of teaching and the joy of learning. I believe that knowledge has the power to transform lives, and as a teacher, my mission is to make learning accessible, engaging, and meaningful for every student I guide. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Quaid-e-Azam University and an M.Phil. in Biochemistry from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. My postgraduate research focused on the effect of Curcumin and Nigella sativa oil on chemically induced breast cancer in mice models, which allowed me to gain not only scientific expertise but also critical thinking and research skills that I now bring into my teaching. With this academic foundation, I am well-prepared to teach Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy, and related life sciences at different levels. In addition, I also teach the Holy Quran with Tajweed, helping students strengthen both their academic and spiritual understanding. One of my strengths as a teacher is clarity and patience. I understand that learning can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially in subjects like Biology and Microbiology that involve detailed concepts, terminologies, and processes. My goal is to break down complex ideas into smaller, manageable steps so students not only memorize but also understand deeply. I also encourage critical thinking by asking thought-provoking questions and guiding students to find answers themselves. This not only improves subject knowledge but also develops problem-solving and analytical skills. In addition to academic teaching, I feel a strong responsibility towards spiritual education. As a Quran teacher, I teach Recitation, Tajweed, Tafseer, and basic Islamic studies. For me, Quran teaching is not just about reading the words correctly, but about helping students connect with the deeper meaning of Allah’s message. My approach is gentle yet structured, ensuring that learners of all ages—from children to adults—feel encouraged and motivated.
